On November 30th, 2000 Cris Carter became only the second player in NFL history to reach the 1,000 reception plateau when he caught a 4-yard touchdown pass against Detroit.

the greatest player is cris carter. but the greatest hands are jerry rice's. dont take that from him. but dont ever forget about tim brown of the raiders. he never had a good querterback, and yet he had 100 tuchdowns in 16 years. seems like a long time, but with a querterback that played like vinny testiverty
