Big Bill Broonzy - Just A Dream

Today, when Barak Obama became the first African-American to win the White House, I'd like to upload this blues. Big Bill Broonzy, singing his song 'Just a Dream" with these memorable lines:

"I dreamed I was in the White House, sittin' in the president's chair
I dreamed he's shaking my hand, and he said "Bill, I'm so glad you're here"
But that was just a dream, Lord, what a dream I had on my mind..."

Well, it was 'just a dream' in 1956, when this film ('Low Light, Blue Smoke') was made. Today it became the reality.

The change has come. I hope it will help our troubled world, as a whole, to become better.

this was filmed on his tour of britain i think, did america know this guy,when asked who the beatles wanted to see when they were in the U.S they said muddy waters,the guy says where's that? such great music comes from america, i love the way america and britain bounce musical ideas off each other blues rock n roll country comes over to britain, beat and heavy rock/metal goes back to america,if there's a "special relationship" its music,constantly blazing a trail, invasions of sonic armies
