It always surprises me how stupid Americans are. Not all of them of course, but a large section of that population seems to have a mind more suitable to the Dark Ages. Obama at least tries with his Health Care package. The Republicans don't seem to have a clue about the wider world.

Funny how every one forgets that McCain admitted during the campaign that he did not fully understand economics. If you think things are bad under the current administration, think about how bad it would be under someone who knows nothing about what needs to be done.

Obama made a promise he didn't keep and the bill was constructed behind closed doors, never read and passed. Facts are facts....don't make empty promises. He made those empty promises to a majority of americans who fell for his campaign garbage. John McCain is garbage too...too old and trying to keep the Bush Era up and running...no good! America is unique precisely b/c it's the 1 country that has avoided socialism. Our founding principles are a free market economy w little to no govt intrusion, strong individual freedoms,&a small central govt w limited powers. In the past 75 years, we've been gradually moving away from that & towards European socialism. But many here resist the slow march to socialism, & rightly so. Now, which countries are "clueless" - us, for resisting socialism? Or Greece and their ilk, who are now bankrupt?
