i just have like 40% missions done but now i get owned by the machines....
i use to like 1hit ko them with blizzaga
and thundaga blade!!
also try fighting him (on a mission or on this part) with only 1 spell u can use ONCE and just 2 curas or cures (no curagas!!!!) lol i tried and its soo fun to fight him like that! lol

wait wasn't sephiroth's mother a impossible fight in archblades (game fro ps2 not available anymore) yea she was 9990455118822000 hp took me 8 hours to kill (srry theres no vid cuz i can't do it twice)
