420chocky, we are generally over the sea so not such a problem but we do rely on everyone observing the rules of their chosen sport or hobby. As an RC pilot myself it is my experience that the location and behaviour of RC fields and pilots seems to keep things safe :-)

Are you generally on auto pilot most of the way? Does it become monotonous?

@readyornot2198 On the long legs we tend to use the autopilot. We average something like 15-20 Landings a day and these are all hand flown, for me I do not find it monotonous at all and I enjoy it very much. Although we have a 20-30 minute flight from the shore and the occasional long leg of an hour or so our leg time is an average of something like 7-10 minutes so we are generally quite busy during a days work.
