I started this with full intention of making an upbeat house/dance track but once I created the short piano progression I decided to take more of an ambient route with it.

What you're hearing is about a solid 4 hours worth of work. I know there is still LOTS to do with this track, instruments getting lost in the mix, levels are out of whack, transitions are god awful, ect. I just wanted to get some feedback on this new style I'm venturing into.

Also, I'm giving up the Dr. Orpheus name. I've noticed my composition style has grown and matured and therefore it's time to move on to a new alias along with that.

Please share your feedback and help me create the best music I possibly can.

  • Very nice. I liked the second half, the layering sounded better. Outro was the best part. I want to make another song now, maybe something hardcore or just fast.
