I'm not very consistent yet, but here's a decent shot I pulled. The dosing system has been removed and in it's place I put a plastic chute from a Rocky doserless. Also, the guts of the pressurized PF have been removed, as you can see.

  • Awesome, I've seen your thread on Coffeegeek and this was a fun watch. I've recommended this machine to most of my friends who are looking for a good place to start. Nice looking shot! Still happy with the Profi?

    thanks for your comment! It was a great starter, but only if you've got the ability to modify it. If you leave the existing dosing mechanism on, it's not worth it. It really needs a chute. Someone could even do a better job than I did. If you read my thread on coffeegeek then you saw that I ground off two of the paddles on the inside that push grounds out the chute. I would do it differently today. I would instead do something to reduce the speed of the grinder motor.
