Love, squared - Bezalel Animation

This is a joint project with the talented Naama Zarfaty. All done in Bezalel, Jerusalem during our first year of animation studies. A short cartoon from "Animative Thinking" class with Michal Kranot. The story is an adaptation of a 5th grade memory of mine. I asked a girl from my class if she wanted to be my girlfriend. She said "Yes, but don't tell anybody!". I was extremely happy. and after a whole week of not speaking to each other she finally broke up with me... leaving me heartbroken. Today I have recovered and have a REAL girlfriend. I must say that I learned alot out of the whole process of making a short cartoon from start to finish.This is a rough version that i uploaded due to technical difficulties. the edited version has a much shorter black and white flash when the kids run out of school. I must give credit to Naama for "the most beautiful girl in the world" part which she did solo. Looks great! THE SONGS IN THE CARTOON DO NOT BELONG TO ME. THE FIRST SONG I "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD" WHICH BELONGS TO PRINCE.THE SECOND SONG IS FROM FATBOYSLIM'S SONG "ROCKAFELLER SKANK". AND THE LAST SONG IS "IM SO TIRED OF BEIN' ALONE WHICH BELONGS TO AL GREEN. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE SONGS/ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO THEIR RESPECTED ARTISTS. THIS CARTOON WAS MADE AS A SCHOOL EXCERCISE FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY. NOT FOR COMMERCIAL OR PROMOTIONAL USE. IT WAS UPLOADED TO BE SHARED WITH FELLOW SCHOOLMATES AND FAMILY MEMBERS.
