Within a month, you will see the benefit. You can feel that your left hand is in command and very confident about the control. Also, you can feel that you can move the left hand on the finger board with so much more control. I recommend you to watch Marcin Dylla's hands. They look so relax and light but they are strong and yet elegant with great great control. His fingers are like dancing on the finger board. I think you have great great potential. Good luck and enjoy the music.
Now slide the left hand one fret down, barr the 1st fret with your 1st finger and repeat the pattern. I garrantee you that your left hand will be really tried by the time you reach the 7th fret. This exercise is quite demanding. I recommend once every two days to start with. .......

Hi, Jonah, I have watched all your videos. Did you notice that as your skill improve, your right hand change shape? When I saw your first video, I saw that your right hand needs some work. But you have done it. Your right hand's touch has improved greatly. However, if you are serious about being a guitarist, I think you need work on your left hand now. I feel that your left hand needs more strength. I am not suggesting doing weight training with the fingers...... to be continued on next post.
