Thanks again for such nice and well done presentation. Your videos are always instructive and educative. You are an exemple to me and to all dance teachers and dancers.
Love,

i just wanted to ask an important question if you have time to answer: 1) are you a doctor? 2) i heard that training your hip flexors directly eg with leg raises is unncessary as they develop with all major exercises such as squats and deadlift. if they become too strong they can throw your back out of alignment...if i train them but stretch regularly is it fine? should i work out my hip flexors directly? i am a bodybuilder.

I am not a physician. Dancers train to take their leg above 90 degrees - and at that point the strength of the iliopsoas really comes into play. For most people, strength is not a problem - stretching it is more often what needs to happen. Squats and deadlift is an appropriate way to strengthen the hip flexors - and appropriate for your activity. Just remember to stretch them out after each workout!
