  • Truck sounds alot better now that everything has been broken in =)

  • flowmaster 50 series....go to a local muffler shop they will have one there...what do u mean by which 50 series?

  • hey, got a question? i want to make my exhaust louder without changing mufflers. Do you think if i take out all the pipes from the muffler to the tip off and just install a short turn down pipe off the muffler would that help increase the sound from the muffler? that way its not traveling thru all those pipes first. Ttyl

  • Yes it will increase the sound but when i did that i lost bottom end power....and for the amount noise i got from it it wasnt worth it.....for louder u can just move ur exhaust back as far as possible and then dump it out the side but u may lose some bottom end or top end power

  • hey man, nice exhaust on that dakota! Sounds Awsome! got a question for you. is this a full setup or just the muffler?? and does this sound decently loud in person? I had a Flowmaster 50 Series installed on my 2006 Dakota 3.7L & all i replaced was the muffler and it is like It was before I installed it. Quiet as hell. did you remove the chamber behind the rear passanger wheel? thats my next step, replace it with a straight pipe so nothing is between the muffler and Tip. Aswome truck man!

  • Its a full cat back exhaust...stock the pipe is a 2'' i put in a 3'' in and then duel 2 1/2" out i have the exhaust pointing straight out so its really loud and it echos off of everything....and sensitive alarms set off lol all mine is is pipe muffler and duel pipes

  • what flowmaster 50 series muffler is that

  • what 50 series muffler is that

  • my dad has an 08 and he just cut the smaller muffler off and put a strait pipe there, it isnt as loud as an actual exhaust sytem put it still sounds realy good.

  • @venomking111 - thanks for replying. Well, I will be honest with you, it doesnt have crap for bottom end at all right now anyhow. The 3.7 V6 in the dakotas, at least mine, sucks! very weak for a V6. It takes it forever to get going. I really aint trying to hot rod my truck, just trying to give it some sweet sound, so if I lost some power by shortening the pipes then so be it. I got a modified Car for that :-) Thanks again for your help. If I do it I will repost a video and let you know. ttyl

  • hey, I got a new video up showing off my Dodge Dakota with flowmaster 50 series muffler. stop by my page and check it out. very nice truck man.
