Cucumber being ravaged by Phytophthora capsici infection. Pictures were taken over a 6-day timeperiod. Infection features visible sporulation (white mass) at the later timepoints.

  • The first picture that shows visible sporulation (say between 23 and 24 seconds of this video) was shot after 110 hours, so roughly 4,5 days. I inoculated at about 11 AM, so sporulation started around midnight.

  • What day out of the 6 day time period did it take for the visible sporulation to occur on the cucumber?
