    changing TEMPO wont change the time signature..changing note values would.

  • Can anybody answer this for me: Can the same riff be counted as either 1 bar of 7/4 or 7 bars of 3/4, depending on the speed of the metronome? In other words, can I just choose different time signatures based on the click track speed? Because it seems that I can play the same riff, and count it in different ways, and hence get different time signatures. If anyone could help my out with this I will forever appreciate it. Cheers.
