立ち上がりテスト Standing up

http://www.castrol-1.jp/#?entryId=100プロジェクトマネージャーのキタニです。ここのところ頻繁に工房に来ていますが、冬本番で工房は体を動かす作業をしていないと手足の感覚がなくなるほど冷えきっています。現在、カストロール1号は油圧周りの整備が終わり、(コンピュータとの接続はまだですが)ボタン操作で前後の足を使って立ち上がれるようになったということで、光吾郎さんにさっそく立ち上がるデモを見せてもらいました。鉄で出来たカストロール1号ですが、４本の足で立ち上がる姿は、うっかり出くわした巨大な動物のように見えました。以前に見せていただいた、台の上で前足を動かすのとは違い（Project Report No.0063参照）、全体が足の動きに合わせて揺れる様子からは圧倒的な質量が感じられ、絶対にこの生き物と戦っても勝てない、という野生の勘のようなものが働きます。­走行モード時の全体が低くなっている状態とは、だいぶ印象が変わります。　キタニ　拝
This is Project Manager Kitani. I have been visiting the studio frequently these days, and noticed that during the winter, the studio gets so cold that our hands and feet can become quite chilled to the bone unless we are moving our bodies around. Currently, the staff have finished servicing the oil pressure-related facilities on Castrol Ichi-Go (but we havent connected it to the computer yet), allowing it to stand up on its front and rear feet by way of operating the buttons. Right away, Kogoro showed us a demo of Ichi-Go standing up. Seeing the iron Castrol Ichi-Go stand up on all four legs gave us the impression that we have come across a gigantic beast. Unlike the previous demo of Ichi-Go moving its front feet on a stand, seeing its whole body sway in accordance to the movement of its feet, created an overwhelming power which drives an animal instinct in us that we can never win if we ever have to fight this creature. Castrol Ichi-Gos impression is quite different versus its low posture during running mode. Sincerely, Kitani
