Fact: The population will most likely top 8-9 billion people maximum. Why? Limiting factors (factors limiting a size of a species). When the population rises, deaths will raise proportionately. Meaning, the more people there are the more deaths will occur.

You can't provoke thought anymore, the studios would stop it. This movie went a little beyond Harrison's original story which didn't include our tasty green cracker.
