my wrangler does that, wen it does i just take the coil wire off and spray some cologne axe or carb cleaner on it and around my coil and distributor and it runs like a champ.

My brother used to have a Cherokee with a 4 inch lift (sold it for an all original '79 J10 with 80,000 miles on it, NO RUST). We took the Cherokee 4-wheeling and he hit a mudhole kinda fast. Sucked water in the motor and hydrolocked it. We took the plugs out, turned the Jeep over until it blew about a gallon of water out of the motor, put the plugs back in and kept wheeling for about 5 hours. That proves that AMC I-6's are unstoppable.
