By the late '60s, the Louvin Brothers started to be discovered by a new generation of musicians and fans. Country-rock progenitor Gram Parsons became the group's great champion, covering several of their songs in the Byrds and as a solo artist before his own untimely death in 1973. Music critic Bob Mehr gives his insight on Charlie Louvin and his musical career.

And, John Beifuss is on assignment but we still have three movie reviews for the weekend. They are "Hot Fuzz," "Fracture" and "In the Land of Women".

  • Nice job, I love it. New music from Brandon Jarod coming soon, AMAZING!

  • At 80 yrs of age Charlie is still superb , what feeling and soul comes from him, what style and phrasing, his voice is still strong and steady , I love his voice more than ever .

  • Did you know that your cranium prevents your brain from being a formless blancmange.

  • Unless you're rehearsing for something.

  • Admittedly, Burt Munro (the fastest indian)was a real hero. Please investigate.

I mean that. Burt Munro is a great, real story to know about.

Anthony Hopkins did a brilliant job of portraying him in the movie "The fastest Indian".

    Watch it.

By the way, singing all alone sucks.

  • Anthony Hopkins:

"Hannibal" or, "The world's fastest Indian."

Both characters are in two of my favourite movies.

    Thankyou Anthony.
