  • Yes, it`s that one. I can assure you that it`s a great magazine, with so many lessons. From Rock to Jazz etc. Definitely my favourite one! :)

Thanks again for your nice comment, it gives me a huge satisfaction! Grazie :)

  • Great vibrato on your bends! But it's not Otis! Sounds like early Clapton doing Otis. Thanks!

  • Yeah, I agree with you. This solo comes from a guitar magazine whose name is Guitar Techniques. Probably my interpretation reminds more Clapton rather than Otis.Thank you very much anyway :)

  • @clarkewi Yep. With a different nut and bridge. So he played leftie but with standard grips like a mirror image.

  • @Antarblue My understanding is that Jimi actually restringed his Strat ?

  • @clarkewi He does, but with a pick.

  • @Antarblue I thought Otis Rush played it left had / upside down like Albert King?

  • Is it from that open guitar mag thats in the shot? You play it very well and you have good control on those bends. Most people today, even blues players, don't bend that far and they certanly don't get that good vibrato even on un-bent strings. Congradulations! ;-)
