I don't like the STI driver's choice of driving lines. He knows the thing understeers, he should really plan his lines better. RX8 kept up well, probably cause of the tighter slower speed corners.

not misinformed at all...here is the truth:

Big brake kits won't reduce your stopping distance, and in many cases actually increase it by altering front/rear brake bias. What they do is reduce fade on the track by being better heat sinks/heat radiators than stock size brakes. If you want shorter stopping distances, get stickier or wider tires.

And try to stop cursing, haha

Looks like a almost fair race the rx8 does amazing in the turns but lacks in the straights love my rx8 just want to upgrade the torque

@SleeperWag I fail to see the point of your comment. You're saying that because I don't have a video of me driving his car on this very track, it's impossible for me to be critical? Worse yet, you're saying that because I haven't driven this particular car on this particular track, I'm incapable of understanding the concepts of driving lines or understeer? What a poorly thought out argument.

@rarejd That RX8 was keeping up just fine on the straights too... i doubt it was stock. The STI didnt have very bad lines, you're just being critical. Upload a video of you racing a manual on this track, see if you can beat his time.

@sunnyjason its all about who is driving. That STI is 0-60 in 4.3 seconds STOCK. the rx8 is 0-60 in 5.9... WAAAY slower than the turbo charged STI but the RX8 EASILY could have passed the STI more than once if he was more aggressive. Its way more than who has the bigger engine and the best mods. Its about the fastest line, the right handling, and the best decisions. Above all knowing when to accelerate and when to decelerate in relation to the apex of the turn
