A Welsh League football club has joined in the campaign to stop violence in the home.
Fans and officials at one of PFC's last home games were handed white ribbons to show their support and anti-abuse messages were relayed on the tannoy.
A banner has also been put up by the side of the pitch with the campaign slogan -- "Domestic Abuse. Don't tolerate it! Don't do
it!" -- and a helpline number.
Across the UK, an average of two women every week are killed by a partner or former partner and domestic abuse accounts for more than 25% of all violent crimes.
"This is the most secretive of all crimes and cutting back on cases of domestic abuse would give families a better life, without having to live in fear," said PC Dewi Wynne, a Community Beat Manager at nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog.
He is a member of the Gwynedd Domestic Abuse Forum, which is running the campaign.
