The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society operates on the willing donations of the millions and millions of people who want to see the killing of Whales ended. It is THEIR wish Paul and the crew are fulfilling! Those people are probably wishing they didn’t waste so much money donating to Greenpeace who does little more than talk

"Japan’s tsunami seems to have succeeded, where years of boycotts and protests & high-seas chases by Western environmentalists had failed, in knocking out a pillar of the nation’s whaling industry. Ayukawahama was one of only four communities in Japan that defiantly carried on whaling and eating whales as a part of the 'local culture', even as the rest of the nation loses interest in whale meat." japanprobe. com/2011/03/25/whaling-town-de

@info145 i heard that sum of the whaling fleet sank is this true???

They should string up all of the sea shepherds as pirates. I wish the Japs would grow a set of balls and send one of the guided missile frigates with the whaling fleet.

They are funny.
Japan sets the limitation so as not to exterminate the whale,
and we hunting whales under the approval of the UN.
There is no right to obstruct it to them.

Put into perspective:
Feb. 6 2009: "A boat with anti-whaling activists collides with a Japanese whaling vessel in the Antarctic Ocean. No one was injured. Japan is condemning the clash, calling it unforgivable."
Jan. 6 2010: "A Japanese whaling vessel collided with an anti-whaling activists' powerboat. The vessel sunk. There was one injury reported. The Japanese officials have since repeatedly refused to cooperate with investigations over this collision."
Does anyone smell a rat?

The sunami of japan is payback for the cruel killing of whales and dolphins. Karma is a bitch A.

these people have made me support whaling
A coastal whaling base in Miyagi Prefecture of Japan has been destroyed by the powerful tsunami triggered by 3/11/11's massive earthquake, which washed away their whale-processing facility. In Ishinomaki of Ayukawa on southern Oshika, the tsunami of 10 meters high traveled 600 meters inland. They prospered as a whaling base since opening there in 1906. Two of their vessels were scheduled to participate in Japan's research whaling in April. search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/nn20110318a7.html

Feb. 18th 2011: Japan’s agriculture minister, Michihiko Kano, told reporters... "This year the japanese have retreated halfway through the whaling season, having taken less than 20% of our annual quota of 1,000 whales. At first, the suspension was said to be temporary, but now it’s official. The japanese government has recalled the whaling fleet, due to harassment by Sea Shepherd activists." throughagreenlens. com
