  • sounds rather good... but it's hardly to talk about quality when you just hear this piece. so, could you upload anything by bach, mozart, beethoven etc.etc.? would be nice...

  • Done, dinulipatti1950! :)

  • Good piece and well performed... unfortunately the microphone on the camera is very poorly constructed.

  • Hahahaha This shows the true pretention some youtube comments. You could have said the microphone was "bad" but isntead it was "poorly constructed". That made me laugh.

  • musica orrenda di serie B...ma Glass non conosce altro che accordini e arpeggini?!?

  • This piece is just so bad. I could write something like this, without the aid of an instrument. Normally that's a pretentious statement uttered by idiots, but in this case it's no exaggeration. It's so simple, move some major triads around in root position. Aside from the slightly irregular metre (which is extremely old hat) in the beginning, it sounds like a grade school musical, minus the kid vocals

  • can somebody tell me why he called this tirol concerto? is it about tyrol or did he write it while in tyrol or...

  • @Justino111 I want to know what Glass says about emotion in music! Where did you hear/read his comments? As much as I personally love his music, I feel like has a lot of explaining to do for the shortcuts he constantly takes.

  • My only problem with Glass is his tendency to recycle his material (over and over and over). I do love his music, even his later stuff which is usually based on musical ideas he wore out years ago, but I don't understand how a guy who so clearly has run out of ideas continues to be the most successful composer in this country? I know I find the perpetual energy of his music to be the most addictive. Anyway, great performance! You guys sound like you're having tons of fun.

  • Proceed with care, the piano is about falling in your head....
