just got it figed out had to loosen a screw more i waited forever for my 2x2 to come and a week later it broke my mom would have gotten soooo mad thanks for saving my life!!!

Yeah it locked up on me because the middle piece popped out inside of it. Thanks for suggesting loosening a screw to get it back in. :) Thanks a lot!!

for the last piece, the foot can't fit into the hole because it's too small, it's impossible for me to "wiggle it into place". plz help!

@Krashman101 loosen one screw until the piece can pop in, then tighten the screw(s) to the tension you like
