Thanks g00se, as a1974 grad this has brought back some strong and positive memories of FAMU. No matter how tough the times are for FAMU; WE SHALL STRIKE AND STRIKE AND STRIKE AGAIN !!!!!!!!

Back in the 80s band members would pass tapes around and dub them over and over again until they got a copy. I found this video on some old taps I had boxed up. With the advent of the internet and the ability to digitize video I am now able to share it with everyone.

wow!!! my Former High school band director may be on the field on this one.Levy Gaillard. Sousaphone.anyone know??? Oh My God!!! we did the exact Routines Format. even our uniforms resembled Famu in the 80's.except we were Blue n Gold.WOW. lol imma post this on my page.

No bigger FAM fan than me,but this is back when members were in step and looking good!!!!! and gave a damn.Not bashing the 100,just aint the same.still love'em.Now if any u try and talk about them I wil STRIKE AND STRIKE AND STRIKE AGAIN!

goose appreciate you sharing this. Dr. Foster is a legend. I went to Howard early 1990's and was in the band there. I just learned he finally passed away this year 2010....glad to see he's immortal throught the 100.
