you're more generous than i... the movie lacks any real demographic of the cross cultural tapestry that is the "real" american teen.

thats what I was wondering...Warsaw has a huge hispanic population, and the asians are also growing in the community. I went there, I should know.

I agree, in that aspect this film is grossly disappointing. I went to Warsaw and so have my sisters and reiterating superficial stereotypes as the "norm" is slightly sickening. It hangs over the cliff of attributing to cultural or at least subcultural genocide. Thanks!

Actually it is Milford that has the most Hispanics....there are some in Warsaw, but not as much as your making it sound. I should know...I live there now...and I'm Hispanic.

why didn't you call the movie white teen?

or just "I wish this movie was the breakfast club"

when picking the most like breakfast club cast were none of the minorities available?

do any of the characters get high or do a punch dance?

I go to the highschool where this documentary was filmed...crazy that its going to b on the big screen...but exciting!!!!
