  • All the politics byside -Stephen Kent is an awesome didge player and if I could play only half as good as him I would be happy.

  • thanx for a wonderfull piece

  • you sir (cf1) miss the point ENTIRELY ... one doesn't have to be laden w/ white guilt in order to desire to reattract a primordial 'frequency' into their souls & reintroduce a simpler interaction w/ nature into their lives ... a lot of people look at yer typical big-box strip-mall in anytown, USA & feel an instantaneous revulsion ... that doesn't mean that they then have to GIVE-UP everything else in their lives & go run around in a loincloth ... PLEASE ... you sir (cf1) are a MORON ...

  • Ya, that first post came across a lot more hostile than I intended. Plus, I didn't really make myself too clear. I'm not talking about a Safari or a Camping trip. I'm talking about, "here's your loin cloth, have a good life." Even some of the most privileged & pampered among us go off and do little stints in the wilderness.

Like I said, I don't mean any hostility here. I just get agitated by what comes across as contempt for the western culture. We're not perfect but we've brought a lot of good

  • Hi Todd...I'm not proposing we go back to being druids...My comment was really more an expression of my disliking for greed, consumerism, capitalist politics, pollution and the waste of earths natural resources. Rather than going back to a time of any dominant religion I would propose that we could live in a 'resource based' economy rather than the present monetary system with its in-built debt, poverty and exploitation of people and the earth. And so on......... Anyway...hows your didging goin?

  • You mean going back to being Druids?

  • "I challenge you to go be with the aboriginals in Australia. Leave your shoes and your trademark bandanna, your home, green friendly car, etc, and just go. And don't come back in a week when you miss all of the white luxuries."

Steven Kent has already done that, including some at the JT!

  • There's no doubt that you can play a tree branch. But seriously, another boy ridden by white-guilt? Ashamed to be from a race conquerors. Listen to the wackos in the crowd this guy is attracting. These kinds of movements are fueled by half-finished thoughts.

I challenge you to go be with the aboriginals in Australia. Leave your shoes and your trademark bandanna, your home, green friendly car, etc, and just go. And don't come back in a week when you miss all of the white luxuries.

  • Wow, he even plays his cheek...

Sounds similar to a song he played on Alien Dreamtime.
