Superb Lyrebird behind the bushes doing his repertoire of different calls and sounds including a laser gun, kookaburra, whipbird, whistlers, magpies, etc!
@blackrainuponus lyre birds are very shy. The only way to know where one is without seeing it, is from hearing many bird calls coming from the same area as you can clearly tell from this video. Sometimes they will make man made sounds too which is another dead giveaway as to what kind of bird it may be.
Uh yeah, this is David Attenborough, a guy who does nature TV shows, and I highly doubt he'd use "A human child's toy" to make it sound like a bird call. Also, you can watch the whole video if you look up lyre bird call on Google, and he's definitely not in someone's backyard.
