@uptothe I'm no expert. I can tell you what I think srutibedam is - Moving notes in place so the relative scale between notes in the arohanam/avaroham isnt altered.
Hamsanandi is S R1 G3 M2 D2 N3 S Av. Moving this scale by one note - R2(note after R1), Ma1(note after G3), Pa(note after M2), N2 (note after D2) S(note after N3), which is Madhyamavathi - R2 M1 P N2 S. There is a whole lot more to make this happen than just pushing relative scale. But this is probably a simple way to explain it.
Great singing by a maestro! Thanks for sharing. Nowadays I think that TNS is doing more of Ramayana Isai Sorpozhivukal and I have heard one. He does a great job there also! May God bless him with long life and plenty of Music to praise Him!
