  • did your smart car made it back up to your drive way?

  • @gwmkwan The smart car is my wife's, I just post videos, but yes we have both been pleasantly surprised at how well it does even in deep snow. Yes it made it just fine.

  • dose that handle well in the snow??? do you have traction control, dose that help at all?

  • @95090978 Its rear wheel drive, no traction control, just a blinky light to let you know when you've lost traction. It does very well in the snow though.

  • @95090978:

Wrong. The smart car DOES have traction control. You cannot disable it. It automatically decides when to engage, and the blinky light informs you when the system is actively functioning. The smart handles snow and ice very well because of the traction control systems (multiple skid control systems).

  • @Lakeshow23 Actually, its very easy to disable, but I don't think I would advise anyone to do so!

  • It's so god damn cute!

  • Ack! Clear off that back window! ;)

  • This might be the most pleasant video I've seen on YouTube. Feel the love. :)

  • @garsduc ... but you just said it didnt have traction control. inb4derpherp

  • yeh it is!!

  • DO DONUTS!!!

  • The Smart does very well in the snow. I driven on some pretty snow packed streets in the past two winters and have done well in them. Of course the best part is the shock value i give people when they see my car after a good snowfall.

  • @nerdydorkgirl

I've got a Smart Fortwo & was really looking forward to doing doughnuts in the snow last year. Unfortunately they are fitted with traction control that you can't turn off, so doughnuts are out. However, saying that, there is a clever little gizmo that costs about £15, that you simply plug in to the diagnostic socket before starting the engine. It knocks off the TC, EBS & ABS. Obviously you need to be mindful of this while driving but this year, I'm looking forward to having fun d

  • I didn't know they were rear wheel drive. I bet it's fun to spin donuts in the parking lots!

  • Fucking awesome! :o
