@Jafromobile Wrong ! ALS (anti-lag system) is used to keep the turbo in boost when you let off the gas ! Not when you are pressing it.This IS the rev limiter,it's just set to spark cut not fuel cut.Don't you think it's strange to set the launch control to more than 7k rpm (this definately sounds more) ?

That's called antilag. It's more boost than just a 2-step rev limiter. Used in conjunction with a 2 step, you can do this with anything boosted. It retards timing and richens the fuel to build more boost sitting still. That car is nowhere close to redline in this video. He's not hurting anything. 'cept maybe other people's egos.
