There are 6 videos in this series. They are all of one set being put in. we weren't able to shoot it all at once so we had to do it bits at a time.
We hope these videos will help you to learn how to install synthetic dreads.

  • @daylantin These stay in from about 8 weeks, but can be taken out and put back in after a short rest for your hair.

  • would this work in curly hair too? or would it look messy?

    my friend wants me to do her hair but she doesnt no if it would look ok

  • Is it better to have another person do it to you or have your done it yourself, to yourself before? :/ <3

  • @Doctorwithnoname222 I have done it myself, but it is MUCH easier to have somebody else do it for you

  • @KiMandarine Well, if you don't like elastics, you can sew them in, but they are a lot harder to get out and can damage your hair.

    It doesn't look stupid if it's done right. Clear bands are better than coloured because they hide. I once did an install for a girl with blonde hair who ordered blonde and pastels, all I had were black rubber bands, whilst she was really happy with the work and install, the install would have been better if they were white or clear.

  • ok, you are awesome. I have adhd and even i understand how to do these by looking at your video..with enough practice i can make money doing dreadlocks. i love ur video it help me alot..
