I was hoping to catch the Union Pacific Heritage units #1989 and #1988 during daylight, but they were running very late, so that was not to be.
First clip is of a trio of AC4400's pulling an eastbound hopper train. The signal was red over green, which meant it was pulling into a siding, which gave me hope to catch the Heritage units. You can see the lower light change as the train passes by, if you look closely.
Second clip is of a westbound manifest train pulled by C45AC, SD70M, SD40-2, and SD70M. The train was going fast, so I was hoping the Heritage units were behind it...
Third clip is of westbound Amtrak California Zephyr (Train #5) running 6 hours late! That dashed my hopes that the Heritage units would show up soon. However, I was happy to catch this train here, as the location is pretty good for shooting videos.
Fourth clip is of two Heritage units + an Olympic unit (SD70M #2002) at night, at the yard in Sparks, FOUR HOURS LATER.
Note how different the engineers honk --.- (long, long, short, long) in the video.
all those train cars have been buffed out like every train car in reno and sparks has graffiti on it
