  • I think if you pay attention you can see that the lizard's legs are visible in this number. I guess in later appearances they put the legs lower on the body. I think you can also see a "tail" during the instrumental break.

  • @NaiTaiDai He was initially a snake in "The great santa claus switch", a muppet special, but for the muppet show, they gave him legs and named him Lenny Lizard.
