This is great! I have a Mandola I tuned like an Octave Mandolin, but with Octaved strings on the G D A. Check out my videos!
Awesome tone you have!

What is the make of your Mando. Love the sound. Of course you are really bringing the most out of it with your playing. Excellent.

@MichaelDovenGray Thank you! well this was the first day with an octava mandolin... it has been improving since, i hope ! it is designed by little german company celtic star, made in rumania... not crazy good wood, but still in good shape and the mandolin resisted some flying around changing from north europe to groenland to amazonian forrest without breaking in two... the electro pick up does not really impress but it works...

Looks big for an Octave Mandolin, are you sure it's not a Bouzouki?

it is because i am so tiny !
no this is a 23 inches scale...shorter than bouzouki but well, the difference between a bouzouki and a mandolin is actually quite blury... you may call it bouzouki if you wish !

yes as you are singing too... i was searching for something a little deeper that i could have more space for singing, and octava is just cool for that ! i Like it a lot !
