Has anyone ever seen how the game has changed statistics wise? Its crazy. I love baseball and baseball statistics. E.g. in 1934 Lou Gehrig hit .363/.465/.706/1.172 with 40 doubles, 49 home runs and 165 rbi, which is more than an rbi per game played. and he only struck out 31 times in 154 games. To compare, placido polanco, a great contact hitter, struck out 44 times in 122 games this past year. I know this is really random but I was just thinking how crazy it was and baseball fans can appreciate
