THE VIDEO RESPONSE ABOVE IS FROM AN OWNER WHO WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE RECALL (in 2005 before his accident) BECAUSE HE CHANGED ADDRESSES AFTER HE BOUGHT THE CAR OR HE BOUGHT THE CAR USED AND THE DEALER DIDN'T REGISTER HIM WITH TOYOTA. IF YOU BUY USED MAKE SURE THE COMPANY KNOWS YOU OWN IT OTHERWISE THE FIRST OWNER WILL GET THE RECALL NOTICE NOT YOU. UNFORTUNATELY THIS HAPPENS TO HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE A DAY. NHTSA's OFFICIAL TERM IS "UNREACHABLE"
