  • @boxcutter0 you clearly have no clue what you are talking about...he completely understands what his employees go through and he knows it isn't easy...thats why you get full benefits and two paid vacations...yeah the pay isn't great but when you have 22 kitchen employees alone and you're only serving an average of 80 guests a night you gotta hit youre labor cost...and at around 32k a year, that isn't a bad salary...and besides, noone there is there for the paycheck....do your homework next time

  • I got goose bumps as I was watching the video. I am grateful to have eaten at Next. I have my reservations at Alinea in July. Can't wait for the best meal of my life! Happy 6th Anniversary to Alinea.

  • i like this..........

  • Alinea in 2010: The single most brilliant evening of food I've ever experienced. Getting ready to make another trip to Chicago to try The Aviary (and hopefully, Next!)

  • This is without a doubt the best restaurant in the country. I would work each day for 18 hours nonstop, sleep in a box for 6, and eat gruel daily to be able to work in the same kitchen as Chef Achatz as a porter. No question.

  • @maelopez519 same here :))

  • I would love to eat there. That's woman's voice is a little over the too though.

  • such a good video, especially because I had every single dish that is filmed.

  • Too bad Grant treats most of his employees poorly... I would be much more in awe of his enterprise if he was able to show more of a social competence and concern.

  • By far so intense..
