I think Komova shouldve won gold in these championships! Gold for most inconsistent that is!

Komova competed watered-down routines due to her injury, and she wasn't in the strongest form here (fall out of turn on floor, chest low on landing, etc). Jordyn had a mistake here or there, but since her routines were more difficult, she came out the winner. That's how it works in gymnastics: If you play it safe - whatever the reason - you'll probably lose even if your routines are cleaner.

@ShawnVikaKomova2012 She won't dominate. She had another surgery yesterday. Secondly, many, many people have commented on her tendency to "give up" - particularly on beam, and that she lacks confidence and sureness on the appartus. The girl has absolutely no fight in her. I have seen competitions of her from this year and she continues to exhibit nervousness and tenuousness.

@BoraBoraGirl2001 Honestly... I don't understand you at all. No one is consistent at the beginning of the season. She threw a ff + ff + Patterson! No one in the world is currently doing a .9 dismount! She doesn't "give up". She was tired in Tokyo. Where do people get such silly assumptions? That's not a fact. She'll dominate in London. She has not nothing... But rather everything!

I know that a lot of people believe that Komova act childish, however i bet she felt like this was her time to shine while Mustafina was out of the running. She probably felt her dream was completely shattered, and being so young, she probably wasn't used to that feeling. And i personally think, that I would've felt the same way. That being said, I do completely adore Jordyn Wieber, a well deserved win! I cannot wait to see both of them at the olympics with Mustafina for 'real showdown'! <3

@ShawnVikaKomova2012 I've watched recent video footage of Komova at the 2012 Moscow Championships. She was a shaky, wobbly, inconsistent mess. Unless she can get her nerves under control and avoid the tendency to "give up" when she make a minor mistake, she is as good as dead in London. And that's a fact. If you don't have confidence, fight and passion, then you have nothing.

@Planetimage2 Excuse me, did you even read my comment? "Komova EXECUTED her routines much better than Wieber". I didn't say she's better, even though she is. She's much better now. She has a 6.5 on beam actually. And I'm guessing by now she has the Amanar. And honestly, no one is going to like you if you speak like that. It looks foolish. Really foolish...
