I don't think this fellow has had a lot of experience in the plumbing business.Never use a flexible pipe on the horizontal between drains as food particles will build up and give off an odor and the drain will also eventually sag with how water. This is actually called an S-trap and obvious for being called that.I have installed 100s of sinks and have never used a flexible tail piece on the horizontal. I have had to use them on vertical applications where they work fine.Best of luck
I learned nothing from this video. I want to know how to cut pvc pipe and instal a sink vent or AAV... It's like a mechanic saying "This is a car it has wheels. If you look here... we got a door and that's how you get into the car." DUHH!!
@killercabbage1 That S trap will siphon itself dry enough to permit sewer gases to come up into the residence. That flexible pipe and the excuse of why he used it is complete crap. That pop up for the drain most of your home depot's dont carry them but they are avail through a plumbing supply house or better yet replace the damn sink baskets with new ones and make it look right. There are reasons why in most plumbing codes they have made S traps illegal. I am a Chicago plumber.
I really dont want to know 2 things about this video. The first is where did this moron get his "plumbing knowledge." The second being who is the idiot that actually likes this video.
That won't back-syphon, it'll either draw air from the unused sink or the trap will re-seal itself at during the end of the drain. Yeah, it could be tidier.
Could possibly be back vented under the floor. But most likely not by looking at the rest of his work. And in Ontario a two inch kitchen sink drain/trap is only required on a three compartment sink after the connection of the third compartment before the trap
2 inch is code for the drain not the trap arm not the any of you back east dumbfuck plumbers would know that with your building traps and fuel oil lines retards
also as a plumber, all i can say is "LOL"......this video HAS to be a joke !! ;)

You have an S trap, no vent and a short sweep 90. All illegal. Call a plumber.
