  • Thanks for producing the video - very helpful! I also had a problem with the bolt heads (2 came off fine with my new Torx 40, 2 stripped right away). I bought some screw extractors (Alden 8440P 4 Piece Kit) and set to getting the bolts out the hard way. It took 2 hours of drilling (if desperate, drill a small hole in the middle of the screw shaft so the extractor bit has something to grab hold of), but now I'm a happy camper with my new seat. Thanks for the confidence-boosting video!

    Those bolts......Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!

I would think Harley could come up with something different, easier to remove and replace.

Enjoy your new ride,,,, solo, without a passenger to worry about!

  • Your face looks really clean, do you know a lot about shaving?

  • @labryth1991

I've answered over Five Thousand questions about shaving, relating to my Youtube channel and webstore ShaveNationdotcom.

So to answer your question, yes, I guess I do.

Are you looking for a nice Old Skool Safety or Straight Razor?

Anything I can help you with?

    Geo.

  • Wrong ....

Im 210 and have the shocks all the way up, and when riding smooth there is a gap BUT hit any bump and the rear WILL hit the seat..

Yes they give u tape but I dont like being bucked by the fender hitting bumps... I returned the Danny gray seat and ordered the rocker seat not the C , it fits better and still gives u that lower seat .....was under$250

  • @geofatboy Many thanks Bro!

Just question, can I have your email adres? Thanks.

Have a great time on the road!

  • @SteelHeart4Ever

    No worries mate!

I would ride with it for a while as is....sans tape.

Keep checking after the first few rides if there are any faint marks on the fender where it might be touching.

If so, then worry about installing the tape.

A flexible piece of plastic or a squeegee will come in handy if you eventually decide on the plastic.

    Enjoy!

    Geo

  • @geofatboy Thanks for your fast answer. Well that was also one off my worries that the tape could do something to the paint. My opinion is, I'm pretty sure that my fender comes in contact with the seat because I felt it already a few times today(first ride with DG seat). Roads in Belgium are terrible... But I guess that when there is no dirt between fender and seat it will not do any damage to the fender without the tape. What do you think about this? Correct me if I'm wrong. ;-)

    Greetz bro
