so does anyone else think this version is basically way better than the one on "Fear of Music?" More energy, anyway

Eno's work on the previous two Talking Heads albums cannot be denied their importance in the overall development of Talking Heads the band. But, I have seen this for the first time ever, 32 years after its release, and Eno or not, this is some tune. Belew carries on his Elephant Talk dynamic from the Lone Rhinoceros. Hmmm.

Adrean belew in my mind, now I realize, defined, formed "the talking heads" sound. With him they became a formed finished sculpture. Tho the background singer helped as much as anyone!

Wow. It's hard for me to even think of any other band I would rather watch/listen to compared to this.

Yes, Adrian Belew has played with King Crimson, but before that he has been a David Bowie and Frank Zappa right-hand axeman... And he had a career on his own.... He's wicked. Thanks for the post!!
