I hate it.....I had scabies for more than 5years. Every year 3x a year I had them. Keep going to the doctors and getting meds but scabies keep coming back. I had my carpet shampoo, bomb the house with insect referent nothing happen...still got them.

I got to a dermatologist today, after at least a week of suffering mad itchy all over my body, that I've never had this extensive before. (I had shingles down my leg in 2004, worst itching ever, but that was localized to that siatic nerve.) I told him that a friend of mine had suggested I had scabies, and it sounded as good a diagnosis as anything else. He barely looked me over before saying I probably do have it, skipped the tests, and went right for the treatment: just like I hoped he would.
