A fast drive showing every single mile from LAX international Airport to LAS McCarren International Airport.Driving through a big city and a big desert.Traffic was very light in Los Angeles.Can a plane beat that in normal mode?

Yup, that's the way I'd do LAX to Las Vegas! From Century Blvd, take the San Diego Freeway(405) North, to the Santa Monica Freeway(10) East, where it would turn into the San Bernardino Freeway once you're east of Downtown Los Angeles. And I would take the San Bernardino Freeway, East to Interstate 15 North, and drive it all the way to Las Vegas.

split speed limits are bogus, there should be a uniform speed limit for all vehicles, (and at all times TEXAS!), which finally happened. Illinois needs to do the same in five counties (Cook, Will, Lake, McHenry, and Kane) where 55 mph truck speed limits are still posted for some bogus EPA reason.

California, take a lesson from Texas, and even Illinois! eliminate split car/truck speed limits. No one drives 55! which is what trucks are subject to in California. Make it 70 m.p.h. for all vehicles.
