I wrote Repton when I was 16 years old - and was still at school. It was a 2D rock-and-diamond cave game for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron. It was the fourth computer game I had written - but only the second one that was published commercially. It was released by Superior Software in 1985. For more details, see:

  • That was a fascinating and enjoyable video - thank you for showing us this. I've been a fan of Repton since I was 8. Thank you for creating a legendary game.

  • Whoa! I knew that you looked smart but I had some doubts about it. Well, no more. (I mean, yes, the website and the improvised keyboard matter, but they represent that kind of actions that may not bring results. I'm sure that you might understand what I'm talking about - things that makes outsiders say that you are just fooling around and that you should stop making childish things). And I do apologize for my English, since I know that I might left some tones of mistakes without even knowing it

  • Tim, I've been a Repton fan since I was 12, thank you for creating an iconic series.

  • Echoing the thanks here too. Lots of stuff that I've never seen, I like the Christmas cards :)

  • Thank you so much for this -- Repton has been an important part of my life for more than 20 years now and I'll never get tired of it :)

  • Many thanks for letting us take a look at this Tim - I really enjoyed it. Brought back a lot of memories.

  • Tim, thank you so much for showing us this. I think you know just how I feel about the Repton Games. This is brilliant mate, thanks again. I'm going to link this to my Facebook Page. =}
