Here is a quick tour of the small closet I converted into a poison dart frog room. It includes a MistKing mister system, a central drain system, and room to keep dozens of growing tadpoles happy.

  • @aflpds9 wild dart frogs are poisonous. Something that they eat is excreted in their skin, so they are toxic, captive animals do not get this food

  • @lilreptileboy310 no, of course not

  • Nice rain xD

  • @TheBrandonLand OK :D

  • @QueenOfOpal123 its cool bro you did in fact had a real nice setup at the time and a good idea to convert a closet into a darfrog room they make alot of noise at night so i might do that for my darts in the future .. just saying if you do diceid to set up a dart frog tank for the last time it would be great to see how it gos so you can wow me again never too young or old for the dart frog hobby :)

  • @TheBrandonLand thnks

  • @THEoEDUCATER Ah, you're very welcome. I'm so glad you thought my comment was pointless :)

  • I love how ALMOST everybody in the comments knows absolutely nothing about these frogs... Can't really blame them for not looking it up though.

  • @Pop12646Okami Wow.... so they got to touch a frog. Thanks for the pointless comment.

  • @KendallRoberg Very nice healthy setup! I am looking to aquire some in the future.

  • @aflpds9 Okk. The poison dart frogs lose their poison in captivity because of the loss of their toxic diet. All their toxins come from their food which make them poisonous.! In the wild they constantly eat toxic bugs. Technically all pdfs are poisonous, It all depends on their diet , if their poisonous or not.

  • @2704heatherwolf Yes, they do Look it up! they don't eat the poisonous millipedes, and centipedes etc. They get the poison from them which they store in their skin if you wanna get technical.

  • That's a really cool room :) mine looked a little like that but a little bigger :) very nice set up :)

  • they dont get the suppliment they need from the wild in captivity so no poison

  • No not all pdf are poisonous
