I think the rhythm is called "legoulay or laygulay" and is from south Guinea. The dun pattern is similar to the "Sinte" pattern with a different variation inside. Peace

Wow thats a rare bit of footage you got there.... Mamady in Australia! I had the pleasure of touring with Mamady, Jeremy, Malin and Bangourake a little bit around Sydney and Woolongong the next year. I will never forget that!
