There was a tribute to Mamady Keita concert on his Australian Tour at the central Club Hotel Richmond Melbourne sept 26 2008. Spontaneously Mamady Keita is giving Melbourne something in return with aid of his wife Monette, Bangourake, Simon Lewis, Simon Fraser, Mady Keita and others!

  • What dunun rhythm is Monette playing?

  • I think the rhythm is called "legoulay or laygulay" and is from south Guinea. The dun pattern is similar to the "Sinte" pattern with a different variation inside. Peace
