This is phenomenal stuff. Saw Dave Valentin perform with his band feat. perc. Sammy Figueroa, bassist Lincoln Goines and the great Bill O' Connell on keys at the Bass Clef, London back in '89; a bonafide maestro flautist supreme. Nice big band descarga, love the blues swing in Jorge Dalto's piano solo; that brother was truly gifted. Great to see the audience gettin' down; just wish I'd been there too. RIP Jorge Dalto and Ray Barretto, two irreplaceable greats.
