I hear a loud ringing and realize its night time. "When the hell did I fall asleep!" I shout and then ringing turns into a loud banging. I got a little scared so I took out my metal bat and walked to the door. I slowly opened it and see someone on the ground in pain and I help him up and see blood all over their face scratches, scars, and bruises. I gasped and pulled him in. "Are you alright!" I said dropping my bat.
he looks me in the eyes and I realize its Nick.
I almost dropped him but I ran to the couch and sat him down. "Nick what happened" I asked. I wasn't sure if I was dilisional or not but I could have sworn his eyes were glowing red. "I...I was attacked....please help me" he studders. "Where's your mom and dad?" I asked and he leaned against me his lips by my ear. I froze and my body shivered "They're dead" he says and I gasped. "Please can...can I stay here now?" he asks and I couldn't say no he was basically dying in front of me. "Alright Nick here let me just help you out" I laid him on the couch and he groned in pain and I rushed to the bathroom and looked at him I had to let him live here he was an only child and I remember how his parents never got along with his other family.
After all he is human to and I cannot let a human suffer not like that.
I sighed and began walking to the bathroom. "Great" I muttered. "The school's jerk is living with me"
I sighed and walked back in with towels a first aid kit and some water and came back to him. I washed some of the blood off to see some of his scars and he kept staring at me. The way his eyes stared into mine it creeped me out some. I was pretty sure I wasn't sleepy now and his eyes were still glowing red.
"Selena"
I looked up at him "Can I shower to wash the blood off of me" he asks and I nod I help him up and take him upstairs. "You can wear my brothers clothes" I said helping him in and sitting him on a bench. I turned on the water and looked over at how hurt and sad he looked. "Let me know if you need help walking back down" I said and he nods. I go into the guest room and fix it up to his liking and by the time I finish and when I come out I see him looking for me. I walked to him and helped him get down.
"Why were you attacked?"
He said nothing
"Are you going to tell me anything?"
He just began walking down the stairs but he almost fell and I helped him. I laid him on the couch and then stood up. "I'm going to go to bed but your room is right upstairs" I said but he grabbed my hand. "Play stay Selena"
I sighed and sat back down and he smiled at me and then closed his eyes. I sighed and just sat there until I eventually fell asleep.
I woke up realizing I was on his chest and sat up. I see him awake looking at TV and his eyes trail down to mine and he smiles. "Morning" he says and I look down. "What time is it?" I asked and he looks back up. "Nine o' clock" I gasped and stood up. "Nine! I'm late!" I said, "You looked exhausted I thought you needed the sleep" he says "I'm fine" I said and he sat up grabbed my arm and lifted my sleeve. "Apparently not!" he shouts indicating my scar going down my arm.
"You tried killing yourself!"
"I've had enough shit happening in my life why the hell should I want to live!" I said angry. "Nothing could be that bad to make you want to kill yourself!" he shouts at me. "Oh yeah! Last year my parents went on their second honeymoon they came back and got sick really sick and they ended up dying! That same day at school you told me that I should spare the world the torture and just go away! Well guess what I took your advice!" I shout at him and he looks down ashamed.
"My brother found me dying in the bathroom he's the only reason I am alive today and the only reason I wanted to live but six months ago he got send to Europe because he's in the navy"
I saw guilt take over his body. "I've been on suicide watch since then" I said softly and realized that I was crying. I then ran upstairs and slammed the door. I began crying on my bed and I hear someone come in. I look and see Nick. He pulls me to him and hugs me tightly. "Selena I am so sorry" he says "I...I don't know why I changed I just did and I never mean half the tings I say to you but please just forgive me" he says holding me.
