  • Hackett is a guitar genius, say what you want about the group after Gabriel left, but in my humble opinion, they really went downhill after Steve left, ToTT and Wind and Wuthering are 2 of my favorite Genesis albums. Whatever he brought to the table they certainly werent able to replace thats for sure.

  • Absolutely Brilliant.. I hope they are still doing it for the 2009 tour I'm going :P

  • Meraviglioso, bellissimo.

  • phil blows this guy away

  • where's collins on vocals, its not the same

  • @flareonfire88 How do i get an answer or get to send a message?? I just want to know who the vocalist/drummer is??,I"m not flare on fire, but cant seem to do it any other way,/bit like Facebook for this 60 year old old F!!!!!!

  • MI sciolgo.......

  • the drummer is great

  • @badrogue66 to truly appreciate steve's sense of orchestration, listen to "Genesis Revisited"- I think it's some of the songs he wrote which were'nt quite the way he envisioned them originally, I love the sop sax in this

  • Listen this version of Blood of the rootfots from "Bad Dreams" and then tell me. It's a live cover that include Steve Hackett's comment.

    I love this song.

    Bye people!

  • Ti amo.

  • @somethingyettocome

    Fair comment somethingyet : )

I think I may of been guilty of over exaggeration in order to make a point!

What I was really saying is that the song contains a lot of cultural & geographical references that would only make sense to a Brit or a true anglophile - The Queen's Xmas speech, The Wednesday night play on BBC1, the irony of it raining "again" in Wales, Cricket references, The Grime on Tyne.............. etc.

Shame not more people you know liked the band.
