What's with you guys? Forcing themselves to cheer? Hell, I'd be going nuts at one of his shows if he were still around. Yeah, it's crazy, nonsensical, and in many ways completely talentless, but damn it's fun stuff. Downright hilarious. And, no, it's not because "he's retarded." He made some strange-ass music that strange people like myself totally enjoyed and he was having fun with it too. They're having a good time and you can hear it. Just try not to sleep to the loop between verses 2 and 3.

a mentally ill black man living in the streets of chicago had a mom that was abusive and smoked rocks, made money from selling drawings and his whack music instead of selling guns or crack. hate it or like it, most people wouldn't give someone in his condition a chance in hell, I'm so glad he left the world with this music, he was an original and fuck as fuck

9 people have a mullet
Check out the Wesley Willis documentary. I saw it recently and it provided a great insight into how rad and driven Wesley was. As for not making any profit, Wesley made a fair deal of cash for himself. It wasn't millions, but he sold a lot of art and music. He was the real deal and I am stoked to have hung out with him and jammed.
